Cambodia 2004-2007 & 2008-2009
As a documentary photographer, I have encountered people in many contexts and that has changed my life, not by the process of photographing but by the process of engagement. The more I have studied people and shown concern for them, the more I have learned about myself.I suppose that is one of the main rewards of being a documentary photographer.

I'm a freelance photographer. I teach street kids how to take photos and that makes us happy...I sit and watch them taking pictures. For me, that moment is the most important thing in this damn world.

! Reminds me of the girls at CCPCR during their dance lesson. I still have the voice recording on my computer of them singing in lieu of a broken boom box. A pleasant surprise when i list to my music at random :)
haha! remember?! I haven't gone up there since I'm back in Cambodia.
These girls are from Drew's Aziza School. The new location is much better. You should come visit us here!
Can't believe that the day after I posted this commnet, the whole area was leveled...aggh.
